An important collaboration meeting was held between the Istanbul Kültür University Dean of Students’ Office, International Relations Unit, and South Korea-based Kyung Hee Cyber University.

At the meeting, held on Thursday, July 31, plans were made to offer Korean language education to students within IKU, providing them with an opportunity to experience a different culture while improving their language proficiency.

The meeting addressed various collaboration models, including the introduction of Korean language instruction, mutual student exchange programs, and joint research projects.
Held with the goal of developing individuals with a global vision, the meeting is expected to open new horizons for our students.

At the end of the meeting, efforts were initiated to take the necessary steps toward establishing a long-term academic and cultural collaboration between the two universities.

Organized in collaboration with TraMod Academy and the Faculty of Architecture of Istanbul Kültür University, with the support of various institutions, the "ITMAD 2025 International Conference on Interactions between Tradition & Modernity in Architecture & Design" was held on July 17-18, 2025, at Istanbul Kültür University.

The opening session of the conference, held on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 1:00 PM, was moderated by Prof. Dr. Selim Ökem, and presentations were made by Assoc. Prof. Sevince Bayrak, Dr. Ali Derya Dostoğlu, Master Architect Caner Bilgin, and Benedetta Patella from Politecnico di Milano. Numerous international figures from different regions of the world participated in the conference sessions, which lasted for two days.

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized the “WeAccept Program Introductory Seminar” on July 29, 2025, to introduce the department to prospective students of the 2025-2026 Academic Year. In the event, which was attended by applicants for the WeAccept scholarship, participants were guided through a selected basic electrical experiment and were provided with information about the department and the profession.
